Welcome to Biomedical Services NZ Ltd On line Learning.

We all lead busy lives, work different shifts, and it can be difficult attending onsite in-service sessions.  So we have developed a practical and interactive online course for healthcare workers called Safety Around Medical Devices.

We service more than 40 hospitals and medical centres throughout New Zealand, and look after over 11,000 medical devices. We know how this equipment works in your facility and have been providing electrical safety around medical devices training to medical staff for many years.  Everyone needs a basic knowledge of electrical safety around medical devices; so our Core Module has been designed for all workers in a healthcare facility.

This will give you and your staff the knowledge, to keep themselves and their patients safe around medical equipment and electricity.  The course has been developed in accordance with AS/NZS3551:2012 and AS/NZS2500:2004.

Currently under development are additional modules that will target specific teams and areas in your facility.
